The Soussa Massa National Park (founded in 1991) is located in Morocco, south of Agadir and stretches over 33,800 hectares between the estuary of the Souss-Massa river and the Atlantic Ocean. It comprises seven villages of tradition and Berber crafts. It is known throughout the world for the presence of particular ornithological specimens, including the famous bald ibis (which only lives there) and other ibis species, flamingos, white spatula, black-headed tchagra. The flora varies depending on the areas with varying degrees of water supply: desert and rocky areas, euphorb and eucalyptus vegetation, and palm groves along the river. The Park coast is very diverse: from endless sandy beaches to cliffs overlooking the sea, from harmonious coves to fishermen's caves.
